WEB3 INNOVATION | A Dose of Weekly Inspiration

Each week we’ll be highlighting a web3 build or use-case that encapsulates the art of what’s possible on-chain. We believe it is imperative to continue to shed light on projects with a real-world use-case.

Sports have been a common focus for web3 projects trying to innovate IRL — look no further than WAGMI United or NBA Top Shot. We believe sports and web3 will continue to converge in-line with adoption of the space itself.

To that point, Tero Labs is a startup positioning itself at the intersection of sports and digital collectibles with its recently launched NFT project: ‘Rough Diamonds’ — an on-chain opportunity to support the next generation of football stars — via a free-mint.

By tokenizing 11 promising, young footballers, fans around the world can actively participate in one of these potential Pro’s journey. It’s kinda like FIFA Career Mode but with NFTs and real-world players. Holders also share a voice in talent scouting and exclusive experiences tied to their token.
