Supercharging eCommerce with Web3 🛍️ 

In February, we partnered with Shopify to launch CommerceKit: An all-in-one platform for developers to build web3 commerce apps.

Last month, we doubled down — by posting a Replit bounty for builders to make web3-enabled eCommerce apps, and win $9k in the process. 🥇 

Using Shopify & thirdweb, our winner Richard Rauser built a gamified membership rewards platform, where customers could 1) personalize & claim a Membership NFT, 2) get access to a token-gated loyalty program, and 3) make purchases to unlock achievement NFTs that grant rewards, discounts, & more.

Here’s how it works:

1. Users connect their wallet to claim & personalize a Membership (NFT) pass

2. The Membership NFT allows token-gated access to a loyalty program — which tracks when a user makes purchases, and rewards them with achievement badges (that are also minted as NFTs) when unlocked

3. When a user unlocks an achievement NFT, they are granted access to additional rewards, exclusive discounts, & token-gated content!
